Lahemaa means “land of the bays” in Estonian. The Lahemaa coast is one of the most unusual in Europe. The national Park here is located 100 km east of Tallinn, which is about a one-hour drive by minivan.

We spend a day on the sea paddling to the most beautiful islands in North Estonia. The islands are now a reservation area for many breeds of birds. Although currently uninhabited, the islands have seen settlers right through the centuries. Remains of the old fishermen's villages are still visible. Stony and sandy beaches, relatively short paddling distances and well-protected bays make for a wonderful boating holiday.

Tallinn Out There's guide will pick you up in front of the Viru Hotel at 9 am. You should expect to arrive back in Tallinn at approximately 7 pm.

This is suited to people who would like to discover Estonian nature in small groups. No boating experience is needed to participate. However it is an active trip, so you need to be prepared for some hard work. Suitable clothes as well as some additional spare clothes are needed. You will canoe approximately 10 km and cover 3 km on foot.

The price includes lunch on one of the islands. All technical equipment provided.
