Tallinn, crossroad between the East and the West. Tallinn is the jewell of the Baltic. Thick walls, high spires and beautiful wild coastline make you feel in wonderland. No wonder it was enlisted as the Unesco world cultural heritage.
The Cathedral
The Cathedral dates back to the 13th century and dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Inside you will be amazed to discover walls decorated by Baltic barons's coat of arms.
How did Tallinn manage to keep its thick walls? At some stage the city was out of money and this heritage was preserved. Not to be missed is the Garden of the king of Denmark, the Maiden Tower and Kiek in de Koek tower.
Short or Big leg?Funny names for Tallinn's most famous street linking the uptown and the downtown.
The town hall: the visit of the town hall is unique by its architecture in the North of Europe. On its top stands the old Thomas weatherwane since 1530!
The church of the Holy Spirit is a landmark in Estonian history, The first written record of the Estonian language were written in this church.
St Nicolas church was founded by 200 merchants in 1230! It kept many treasures from the Middle Age. among others, Bernt Nokte's painting: Dance of Death.
St Olaf Church, this middle age church was once the tallest in Europe. Once 157 meters high but now only 124 but still worth the visit.
Monastery of Dominicans: the friars followed the trade route along the southern coast of the Baltic Sea and reached Estonia 750 ago. The passage of Saint Catherine will strike you by the number of tombstone on its walls.
Fat Margarita, this big tower hosted Tallinn's arsenal and was once Tallinn's prison, now the maritime museum.
Guild Houses were the headquarters of Tallinn's vibrant economic life. As part of the hanseatic league, trade strived and expanded in Tallinn ever since. As a result rich traders had to display their wealth.

Climbing on the ice wall near Tallinn is relaxing event where you have the possibility to chat with friends and learn new fun and challenging hobby. It is possible to climb in dark. We provide powerful lighting with electric generator or alternatively every participant will get a good headlamp.
We spend a day on the sea paddling to the most beautiful islands in North Estonia. The islands are reservation area for the birds. Although currently uninhabited, the islands have had settlers through out time.
